Naish X1 2006

Performance:

The X1 kite has a solid feel and predictable turning capabilities. With an easy and smooth depower feature, the power is available when needed. The X1 has just enough bar pressure to give you a confident feel for where it is, without having to constantly watch it. For relaunching, the X1 rolls over and moves to the edge of the window quickly and easily. The X1 design emphasizes stability and simplicity to encourage riders to charge confidently into the sport of kiteboarding.

Design:

The X1 has an aspect ratio and profile ideal for stability and relaunching. The control bar is an elliptical and ergonomically designed bar with a flaired, optimized center hole. The asymmetric grip enables the rider to tell instantly if the bar is backwards. The X1 sits slightly further back in the window to avoid the dreaded "Hindenburg" situation. The 5 line safety system allows the rider to launch hooked or unhooked.

Construction:

Each X1 is built with robust construction for kite school needs. The X1's wingtips are lighter and come with "smart reinforcements" throughout the kite. New Thermoform Bumpers add to the durability. Naish quality components are used throughout the X1. The quick release trim loop (QRTL) for the X1 has been redesigned for easy release.
